Hi there, My name is Sean

After a two year struggle with sickness and weight loss, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2014 at 19 years old. I then had a successful surgery and completed 33 rounds of proton radiation while retraining my brain walk, balance, and see correctly. It was a really difficult journey but I remained positive and did my best to stay the course to a full recovery with the help of golf and my support system!

In 2020, I had a recurrence found in a routine MRI check up. This tumor was in a different part of my brain, buy it was caught early and my recovery was much lighter tan the first time around. Although I felt stronger and healthier than I did in 2014, I went through a more intense radiation plan this time.

After persevering through two brain tumors and being filled with so much gratitude, I decided to start a non-profit, Stay The Course, Inc. I received such exceptional care form medical providers and had such a strong support system, I wanted to give back to those going through similar challenges. Stay The Course is a saying that has resonated with me not only because of my passion for golf, but it's what I have done throughout my journey that helped me recover and want to encourage others to do the same - stay the course and keep moving forward!
